"I have a very busy schedule between being mom, wife, medical doctor and just trying to be me. My other passions are music, singing, dancing and motivational talks. I love being busy, but it can also lead to not taking enough time for rest and good exercise. Exercise for me is actually anything that makes me sweat! It is good for my heart and mind. It helps me with stress management and to clear my head.
I do not like running in particular but I started doing the Parkrun with my family and we all love the whole family-outdoors-thing. I also enjoy crossfit, dancing and pilates. We recently did Aladdin - a theatrical comedy at the Sand du Plessis Theatre in Bloemfontein. We had so much fun dancing and singing. Currently I am doing pilates twice a week and dancing & musical theatre practice once a week. I am also preparing for another musical theatre production in September and November 2017.
I believe that you must enjoy what you do. Everything. From work to exercise to driving around your kids.
